In terms of forest growth it has been another good year since our last report. The weather has been very conducive to tree growth with no droughts, no high winds or storms and ample rain. It did get a wee bit dry in our most northern forests but nothing to worry about.
There are some impressive growth rates coming through in the forest data collected annually from our Permanent Record Plots. We think investors should be impressed by the way their investment is growing. A comparison with last years data shows tree height for older stands increasing by over two metres – an impressive achievement.
